Initial Response Service (IRS)

This work was to convert a run-down hospital ward, to a bright and vibrant space for their new Initial Response Service (IRS). The work consisted of a full strip of the areas including all electrical and mechanical services, windows, doors, floors, ceiling the building was a bare shell when stripped. We then worked with the design team to create the space which included, New Air handling units, new electrical infrastructure, new nurse call system, office space, consulting rooms, toilets, shower rooms, kitchen, break out space and meeting rooms. Once completed the area was very highly praised and we have worked with the trust to look at further buildings and locations to develop more IRS services in different locations. We decorated the corridors at both ends of the area which we completed for free just to make the area look good when you got out of the lift as these were not included in the tender.
